New CIBC Smart™ Account Offer
The New CIBC Smart™ Account Offer (the “Offer”) begins on November 20, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. ET (the “Offer Start Date”). The Offer is open to residents of Canada who: (i) are age 25 and older , (ii) from January 1, 2022 to the time of opening their CIBC Smart Account (the “Account”), were not a holder of any CIBC chequing account as determined by CIBC on the basis of its official records, and (iii) are not CIBC employees or retired employees.
To qualify to receive a $500 cash reward, on or after the Offer Start Date open a CIBC Smart Account and provide your email address. Within two months of opening the Account, set up and execute 1 or more recurring direct deposit(s) totaling $500 or more per month from your employer, government, or your pension, and complete at least 1 of the following 3 activities:

(ii) 5 eligible Visa Debit purchases in the same calendar month; or
(iii) 2 online bill payments of at least $50 each in the same calendar month.
The direct deposit(s) and the pre-authorized debits must recur either weekly, biweekly, monthly or twice per month and remain in effect for at least 1 year from after the month that the CIBC Smart Account was opened. Unless otherwise indicated, this offer cannot be combined with any other chequing account offer, rebate, reward, or the CIBC Smart(TM) Start or CIBC Smart(TM) for Students benefit on the CIBC Smart Account.
Cash reward will be deposited into the qualifying CIBC Smart Account within 7 months after the month you opened the Account.
